The Annual Anglican/Methodist Christmas Bazaar

12th ANNUAL JOINT CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, 2016

SATURDAY 3rd. DECEMBER

 HIGH STREET METHODIST CHURCH WITNEY

The 12th annual Anglican/Methodist Christmas Bazaar, took place at High St. on Saturday 6th. December from 10 am until 2 pm. There were numerous stalls Books & DVD's, Jewellery, Bric-a-Brac, China & Glass, Toys, Cakes & Preserves and over 20 Craft Stalls and many, many more.

Father Christmas  arrived in style and was in attendance with his usual Lucky Dip.

Our own Rev. Melanie Reed opened the Bazaar for us this year and we had live entertainment during the day.  St Mary's Church Choir, Blake Primary School Choir, Voice Box and Northmoor Handbell Ringers to name but four.

Refreshments were available throughout the day, including mince pies, homemade soup and filled rolls.

This year the proceeds from the Bazaar were divided three ways between the Christian Aid Syria Appeal, All We Can (Methodist Relief & Development Fund) and Base 33.

We raised £3,180.96............thank you so much!!

One of the attractions of this annual event is the opportunity it gives to Methodists from High Street and Anglicans in Witney Team Parish to work together.
